Herbin Metal rollerball purple

A refillable rollerball pen that takes standard size fountain pen cartridges. Matt purple with shiny J Herbin logo on the cap and transparent front section. Unlike conventional roller-ball pens you do not need to replace the entire innards when a refill is needed, you just need a new cartridge.

Filling from bottled ink is possible using a Monteverde mini converter but be aware that the plunger of the converter will be pushed in by approximately 3mm when the barrel is re-fitted so we suggest that you either do not fill the converter completely or else be prepared for some ink to be expelled.

Shipping cost
UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.

Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.

VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.

Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.

Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
