I bought a Montblanc fountain pen that I had always wanted secondhand. The nib was scratchy and made the pen unusable, so it sat unloved and unused in a drawer for many months. I came across Martin and Anna whilst searching for inks and after a few messages and some photos I sent them my pen. In only a few days they worked their magic on my pen and it came back clean, polished and buttery smooth. I am absolutely delighted with their service and will be sending them another fountain for them to work their magic on. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you

I’m finding it increasingly difficult to find moderately priced fountain pens with an oblique fine nib, or even an oblique nib at all. As a last resort I ordered a medium oblique from Faber Castell, only to find it didn’t suit me at all. The team at The Writing Desk have converted a scratchy medium oblique-ish nib to a fine stub oblique - and now the pen is a joy! Highly recommend!

My wife and I are latecomers to the pen "community" but we struck it ever so lucky when we found Anna and Martin at "The Writing Desk". They've been incredibly kind and generous with their time and providing us with tips and information. The products we've bought have been first class, priced competitively, well packaged and delivered promptly. We're glad they're not disappearing altogether as I expect we'll need their services fixing / fine-tuning pens. All the very best to them in their future endeavours.
