We offer two methods of secure on-line payment, as well as telephone payment and bank transfer options.
Sagepay (part of the Sage software group) is one of the UK's leading providers of secure on-line payment solutions. When you choose this method of payment, our website encrypts your order information (using a 128 bit AES encryption algorithm provided by Sagepay) and re-directs you to Sagepay's website where you enter your card details on our dedicated page. We never see your full card details during this process, only the card type and last 4 digits for identification purposes.
Sagepay payments are "deferred". This means that when you place an order the payment system only authorises your card at the time of ordering. We don't actually clear the payment (ie take the funds from your account) until your items are ready for dispatch.
Sagepay deferred payments expire after 30 days if not cleared.
Many customers have a PayPal account so on-line payment is easy this way. Unlike card payments via Sagepay, PayPal payments are instant and not deferred.
When you order by phone (or if you order on-line but prefer to pay over the phone) we enter your card details into a "virtual terminal" provided by Sagepay. As soon as they are entered in the terminal the card details become unavailable to us, apart from the last 4 digits for identification purposes. Card payments taken over the telephone are deferred (see above).
Payment by bank transfer is available to customers with a UK bank account. This method is quick and easy if you have on-line banking and completely free and secure. We are sorry but we cannot accept transfers from foreign banks because of additional fees.
If you have any questions regarding payment type please get in touch.
