Special version of the TWSBI Diamond 580 that features rose gold anodised aluminium piston parts and black cap, grip section and piston knob. The TWSBI Diamond 580 Smoke & Rose Gold features the same piston mechanism as the Diamond 580 AL and a huge 1.9cc ink capacity - one of the largest of any pen in this price range.
The Diamond 580 is virtually unique amongst fountain pens in that it can be completely disassembled by the user for cleaning and servicing and experienced users are encouraged to do so. Full servicing instructions are included with the pen as well as a small wrench to remove the piston mechanism and a bottle of silicone lubricant for the piston mechanism

UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.
Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.
VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.
Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.
Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
Disappointing
One of the reasons I went for this pen was bec. of the way you fill the pen with ink in a way where you don't get ink on your fingers - which you don't, but my fingers are covered in ink which seems to come out between where the nip end screws onto the chamber, even when it is tightened fully it seems to come out and get ink all over your fingers. It is very disappointing and frustrating from a pen that cost 78.80. It is not really acceptable for it to leak at this price point. This issue outweighs the smoothness or how nice the rose gold looks. I'm writing with it just feeling disappointed. The quality does 'look' good but it leaks so it's a 1 from me.
