Sailor Professional Gear Winter Sky (Pillow Book) SE

This new Sailor Professional Gear Winter Sky is the third in the Pillow book series and is the follow-up model to the very popular “Midnight Sky and Autumn Sky".  Inspired by the early morning winter sky after snow has fallen, as described in the Pillow Book - a famous collection of essays by Sei Shonagon 966-1017 whilst in service of the Empress Teishi. In these stories, a humble servant girl describes a number of special colours which are seasonally related.

This fountain pen has a 21k gold nib and comes fitted with a Sailor converter.

Please note that Sailor nibs are finer than on most European-made pens. Therefore, if you want a fine point order a medium etc. Converter filling mechanism (supplied).

The Sailor Professional Gear measures 12.8cm capped, 11.6cm uncapped, 14.8cm posted and weighs 20g. It is the same girth as the Sailor 1911 Classic and shares the same gripping section. It can be thought of as a 1911 with the ends cut square.

Shipping cost
UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.

Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.

VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.

Availability

If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
