Sailor King of Pen Ebonite (gold clip) Naginata Togi

The Sailor King of Pen is the ultimate in oversize fountain pens and is beautifully handcrafted from highly-polished black ebonite, a naturally produced resin material requiring special production processes. Ebonite material is very warm to the touch and its rich elasticity and unique texture provides the ultimate comfort, quality and character to the pen.  As ebonite is a natural material very occasionally foreign substances and/or pinholes may be observed.  This is the part of the character of the material and should not be regarded as a defect.

The Naginata Togi nib has a unique hand-formed elongated tip that provides an exceptionally smooth writing experience. The nib provides broader strokes on the horizontal and finer strokes on the vertical. 

Note that the Naginata Togi special nib produces a fuller line as compared with Sailor's standard 21k nibs with the medium-fine (MF) being similar to a European medium.  

The pen measures an impressive 153mm capped and is fitted as standard with an oversize 21k gold nib. Comes fitted with a Sailor converter.

UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.

Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.

VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.

Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.

Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
