Faber Castell Piston converter

High quality Faber Castell piston converter for pens that accept International size cartridges, enabling use of bottled ink. This model fits fits the Faber Castell Loom, Basic, Ambition, eMotion and Ondoro fountain pens and other cartridge/converter pens that take International standard (short) and long International size cartridges. If your pen takes cartridges that are 38mm long and tapered towards the nib end then this converter will probably fit. The Faber Castell converter is slightly slimmer than other "standard" converters such as the Pelikan as the metal sleeve does not have a step in it. Overall length 75.5mm, maximum diameter 7.5mm. It will also fit Conway Stewart, Yard-O-Led, Edison, Bexley, Rotring and other models that use a standard-siuze converter. Faber Castell type number 148785.

Please also note that these converters will not fit the Conway Stewart Dinkie, Yard-O-Led Viceroy Pocket or Kaweco Sport fountain pens as these models have a short barrel and hence are cartridge only. For other pen models, if you are in doubt, check that the barrel has enough space for the converter before fitting into the nib unit.

Shipping cost
UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.

Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.

VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.

Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.

Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
