quite dry
This ink is quite dry, so when in an extra fine nib it is not saturated. you need a wet nib for the full color. I use this nib with a wet broad and it give a great strong line

Shipping cost and availability
Shipping cost
UK postage is FREE over £35 but otherwise starts at £1.80 for small items (converters, refills etc) or £3.30 for ink, stationery etc.
Overseas shipping starts at only £4.00. The exact cost varies by price, weight and delivery country so to find out your final shipping cost just add the item to your shopping basket and select the delivery country. You don't have to enter any personal details - just an e-mail address but this isn't stored unless you create an account. We offer a choice of shipping services from Royal Mail and DHL.
VAT (at 20%) is automatically taken off for destinations outside the UK. Note that if you are ordering within the EU you will have to pay VAT when your parcel arrives.
Availability
If an item is in stock, the words "In stock" will be shown. If an item is out of stock, the approximate number of days before we get another delivery will be shown instead. You may still be able to order the item, but there will be a delay before we can dispatch your item(s). If the words "Please enquire" are shown, it's best to check with us first before ordering.
Nib choices for fountain pens
If we show the pen with the default nib selection shown in stock it means we have stock of that pen. If you select another nib size and the website doesn't say "in stock" we can usually supply that pen immediately as we keep extensive supplies of nibs from all our manufacturers.
Great ink for sketching and drawing
I'm an artist who's come late to pen and ink work, simply because I'm left-handed and have always found dip nibs and fountain pens a literal pain to use. I'm now using a range of fude fountain nibs, drawing and folded nibs and ruling pens.
R&K SketchINK is one of very few fountain pen ink ranges suitable for fine art use, but I find it works very well in all the nib types I've mentioned. That said, there is no pigment information on the label, which is a no-no in professional artwork, where lightfastness is essential.
'Lilly' is an especially useful colour for general sketching, being a less starkly graphic alternative to black. It's also an excellent colour for winter landscapes, e.g. woodland, rock, peat moorland etc. It resembles a green-shade raw umber (PBr7), but it's clear from my own tests that it contains a separate green pigment, muted in character, besides a brown earth. I would guess the green is PG23, but I'd prefer to know for sure.
