I ordered Thursday lunchtime, pen and bottle of ink arrived Friday morning securely packaged as always. My new Conklin durograph was tuned before dispatch and wrote beautifully right out of the box. Am I surprised? no, this is the first class service you always receive from the Writing Desk. As the singer woman crooned "Simply the Best". P.s. the ink was diamine grey which looks like an HB/B pencil on my rhodia notebook, quite fetching.

This is the only pen seller I've found who sell the complete range of available nibs – including the italic/stub variants – for the standard price for the pen. i.e. You can buy a Lamy or Kaweco with a stub for the regular price – no need to buy a pen with a F/M/B nib and also your stub. The Writing Desk swap the nib to your choosing before dispatch. This alone puts them ahead of other sellers.This was my third order from them. They're quick, everything is really well packaged. The whole outfit feels professional. Highly recommended.
