The Writing Desk service is brilliant. Twice I have very stupidly dropped my Sailor pen (precious to me because it was given to me by my best friend, now, sadly, dead) and twice the Writing Desk have carried out the repairs. It is better than new. The service is quick and friendly. The charge was modest. I cannot overly recommend them.

Flawless work, I’m stunned by how well a cheap, steel nib can be polished by an expert in the craft.The form factor of the brass sport is perfect, but Kaweco’s nib QC is rather lacking and I had a dud. What was once a rarely used pen in the collection, has now turned into one I can’t put down since the custom medium oblique arrived. Couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much

Excellent work (nib grinds on two 18ct gold nibs to change from "medium" to "cursive italic." Delighted with the results. Also customer service was first class including excellent communication re timescales and postage etc. Highly recommended.

Request was to find a replacement nib for a Scriptura Fountain pen. Anna provided a replacement and tested the new nib before sending the pen back to me. The pen writes better than it ever did and the service was great value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending people to contact the company. Simply First Class service and communication!

I bought a Montblanc fountain pen that I had always wanted secondhand. The nib was scratchy and made the pen unusable, so it sat unloved and unused in a drawer for many months. I came across Martin and Anna whilst searching for inks and after a few messages and some photos I sent them my pen. In only a few days they worked their magic on my pen and it came back clean, polished and buttery smooth. I am absolutely delighted with their service and will be sending them another fountain for them to work their magic on. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you
