| I have been very impressed with the Writing Desk - this was my second order over two years. This order included a Pelikan nib unit and ink. The nib unit was tuned and tested before shipping, which meant it wrote fantastically upon arrival. The ink bottles were soundly packaged and arrived unharmed. | I have recently retired and was given a gift voucher for The Writing Desk, as I wanted to buy a fountain pen. My last pen was when I was at school, so a good few years ago. Martin was extremely helpful, allowing me to. Take my time choosing a pen. He answered my questions but let me choose according to the pen I liked most, no high pressure sales, trying to make me buy the most expensive pen for my budget. In the end I purchased 2 pens, a Esterbrook and a Visconti, plus 3 bottles of different coloured inks.
