J.Herbin Inks J.Herbin Company was founded in Paris in 1670. Herbin started manufacturing inks at their shop on rue des Fossés Saint-Germain located in Latin Quarter of Paris three centuries ago. It remains a family enterprise and Herbin now offers a wide range of fine writing materials, including scented ink and cartridges, renowned for their classic French beauty. Herbin Writing Ink These beautiful writing inks are PH neutral, completely non-toxic, offer excellent flow characteristics and are suitable for all makes of fountain pen. These inks come in a fantastic range of 26 colours in 30ml bottles known as the "D" ink bottle so called as it refers to the old French unit of measurement, "la Demi Courtine" and the bottle itself has an integrated pen rest. Each 30ml bottle is £4.39 plus postage and packing.
