2014-10: October 2014
Firstly, in case you didn't already know, Conway Stewart ceased trading at the beginning of last month. The factory in Plymouth has closed and all machinery and remaining stock was sold at auction. It was very sad news but we are hopeful that someone will take over the brand and re-start production of these beautiful and exclusive pens. Unfortunately almost all Conway Stewart pens we had in stock are now sold but (at the time of writing) we do still have:
1x Marlborough Vintage lever-fill pen in black with gold trim
1x Marlborough Vintage lever-fill pen in black with silver trim
1x Marlbough Resin Graphite (cartridge/converter)
1x Capulet Pistachio
1x Blue Laurel LE 2013 edition, serial number 18
1x 58 Classic Black (cartridge/converter)
Please note that nib selection is limited as we don't have all point sizes left. Please enquire via e-mail if you are interested in any of these pens.
We still have plenty of Conway Stewart ink left in stock so get yours while it is still available.
Place an order via our website from now until the end of Fountain Pen Day on Friday 7th November to qualify for an entry in our prize draw to win a Parker Duofold fountain pen. Follow the link below for details.
Pilot Capless LE 2014
Like the previous Capless Limited Edition pens, the number produced matches the year number so this time there are 2014 pieces and this year's colour is copper.
De Atramentis Document Ink
We now have 4 new colours in this range of permanent and waterproof inks.
TWSBI Diamond mini white & gold
TWSBI launched this special version of the Diamond mini in August this year. Although now temporarily out of production we still have a small number of pens left.
Pelikan M600 Vibrant Green
A Special Edition version of the popular M600 fountain pen in a vivid green marbled finish.
Pelikan M101 Tortoiseshell-Red
Very limited stock remaining!
Finally, thank you to all those who visited us at the London Writing Equipment Show earlier this month. We hope you had an enjoyable day. Details of next year's event will be given in a future e-mail update as well as on our Twitter feed.
