Ordered a Pelican fountain pen on Sunday 15th November had two E.Mail on Monday informing me how my order was dispatched and sent Special delivery by the Post Office. Very impressed with the service indeed and would use them again.

Very happy to receive my order the day after placing (a Saturday too). Excellent service, prompt fulfilment and products were exactly what I wanted. Would love to see more paper based packaging in the future as feel there's easy options over polystyrene noodles and bubble wrap these days. Otherwise, faultless!

Thanks for your feedback. The packing chips we use are not polystyrene but instead made from GM free starch and fully bio-degradable. You can therefore put them with your compostable waste. Also, our bubble wrap is made from 50% recycled material and we keep its use to a minimum. We do use paper packaging where appropriate but sadly this is not as effective as bubble wrap for wrapping ink bottles.

I'm particularly grateful to TWD for offering a full range of genuine *italic* nibs (as opposed to stubs), in various sizes, for many of the fountain pens they stock. For those of us that have traditional italic handwriting this makes a huge difference, and it's a service that doesn't seem to be offered by most other suppliers.

I ordered 2 Sailor Fude pens/converters & four inks and received them just one week after they were shipped, and this was the least expensive shipping method. How exciting! I ripped into the package (then washed my hands), then filled up the two converters with Urban Grey and Grey Green De Altramentis ink. Now I need two more pens...This is my second order and I'm about to make a third. Very pleased with prices and products and shipping .
