I was very excited to see the Edison Pearlette in the new Fingerpaints colour already on The Writing Desk website, although it had only been announced by Edison that day. Because the colour mix on these pens varies a lot, Anna and Martin have offered customers the option of choosing their preferred pattern from the pens in stock. Anna very kindly sent me photographs of the pens from both sides within just a few hours and I was able to pick the one I liked best. It was like having my own customised pen, but much quicker and less expensive. Thank you for your fast, friendly and knowledgeable service.

I have ordered so far 3 fountain pens from this website and they have all reached to me in reasonable time. I am in Finland, so not a lot of websites deliver stuff here to begin with. I also appreciate the low cost shipping option; since I am usually on a very tight budget, I can barely afford to splurge on the fountain pens. It is quite an addiction. My first was a Kaweco sport skyline with medium nib; its so far the smoothest nib I have got. Then I ordered the twsbi eco in black with medium nib; it came with the small wrench and silicone grease, all packed in a nice box. Loved it! Been using it for over two weeks now.My recent order was a Lamy nexx with medium nib; haven't received it yet but hoping I'll get it in another ciuple of weeks. The only reason I ordered this one was because of the rubberised grip.But overall, it has been pleasant experience shopping.
