The Conway Stewart Trafalgar Limited EditionOn 21st of October 1805, Lord Nelson and the crew of his flagship HMS Victory famously won the Battle of Trafalgar. Now, 200-years later and as part of its Centenery celebrations, Conway Stewart brings you the beautiful limited edition "Trafalgar" fountain pen. The Trafalgar is crafted out of Blue Stardust resin which contains very fine silver dust particles that glisten and shimmer as the light hits the pen. Its cap top is conical in shape and the nautical theme is accentuated by the three solid 18K gold bands on the cap - one large and two slim denoting Nelson's rank of Vice Admiral at the Battle of Trafalgar. The Conway Stewart Trafalgar is presented in a stylish large dark green lacquered beech presentation box lined with a deep luscious green velvet, housing the limited edition Trafalgar pen, an informative book detailing the life of Nelson, a bottle of Conway Stewart ink and a rocker blotter made from Oak removed from the historic HMS Victory as part of its ongoing restoration. Very limited amounts of materials from this work are made available for prestigious projects and Conway Stewart has procured and used Victory oak to make the period rocker blotter included with this special edition. A certificate of authenticity will accompany each pen. Conway Stewart will be making a contribution towards the cost of restoration and display of a foretopsail used on the Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. The sail will be displayed at the Victory Museum in Portsmouth. The Trafalgar Limited Edition measures 148mm long when capped, 136mm with cap removed and 180mm with cap posted. Its barrel diameter is 13.3mm.
